These necklaces are great and since the offerings are continually growing, so is our collection! We have currently have four – three of the kids’ Pray4Trax style and one of the (older) Mama Necklaces. Our kiddo loves wearing his and is super excited when we “wear animals together.”
On a practical level, the magnetic clasp is great for littles who might accidentally tug on a necklace or catch it on something. The wooden beads are bright and colorful, and the animal toys are perfectly classic, whimsical and full of personality. The Little Vikings site posts updates about all new combinations (and restocks) on their Instagram account, with everything from black beads and a dinosaur to gold beads with a white unicorn. Our most recent addition was this little brown bunny on grey beads – it was perfectly at home in an Easter egg!
The Pray4Trax story is sweet and the family behind these necklaces shares all proceeds from the original style with a little boy named Trax who is battling cystic fibrosis. It’s so special to find a children’s toy/accessory that’s not only well made and beautiful, but also contributes to a good cause.
In addition to the necklaces, The Little Viking shop has been expending with pre-schooler-sized backpacks, books and clothing. They ship worldwide from Australia and we’ve always gotten our packages to Japan very smoothly.
